At our practice, patients can opt to receive dental care within Denplan Care arrangements. Within the UK, Denplan is the leading provider for dental payment plans, and this helps patients budget for their dental care, and obtain dental prevention services from their chosen dental practice.

Denplan have provided this service for 30 years, and offer a wide array of dental support services including :

dental accident insurance

dental implant cover

worldwide cover for
dental emergencies

and the such like. Importantly, Denplan encourages all patients to become dentally fit, and then use their Denplan contract to support a preventive approach to care. Your monthly premium is based on the “risk category” you need to be placed in, and once you are placed within your risk category, you only continue to pay this fixed fee while enjoying provision of a comprehensive dental service. This really enables patients to budget for their dental care.

Denplan is the most recognised payment plan provider in the UK. Denplan patients are given the best possible service (from the UK-based call centre) from the moment they join.

Denplan Packages

Denplan Care

Denplan Care is a monthly payment plan which helps you pay for your routine and restorative dental treatment
The amount you pay is decided by your dentist and is based on your oral health and how much dental treatment you will need
After an initial assessment by the dentist of your oral health (for which you may be charged) you will be placed into one of five fee categories
Denplan Care includes worldwide dental injury and dental emergency cover (Supplementary Insurance) and access to Denplan’s 24-Hour Worldwide Dental Emergency Helpline

Routine and restorative dental care includes:

Check-ups
Hygiene treatment (including scaling and polishing)
Dental x-rays
Necessary fillings
Preventive dental advice and therapy
Any necessary extractions
Periodontal (gum) treatment
Crowns, bridges, dentures, inlays (excluding laboratory fees)
Root canal treatment

Denplan Care does not cover:

Laboratory fees and prescriptions
Any treatment excluded by the dentist in your contract which is payable by you at the private fee rates
Referral to a specialist and specialist treatment
Treatment carried out anywhere other than by your registered dentist, except when you need temporary emergency dental treatment
Orthodontics, implants, cosmetic treatment
Sedation fees

Please remember – your routine dental treatment is at the discretion of your dentist and our contract is with your dentist, not Denplan.

Denplan Essentials

Denplan Essentials is a dental plan which helps you budget for your routine preventive dental care
Seeing your dentist regularly is important as it can help you avoid having to undergo costly, restorative treatments
The dental plan is easy to set up and no pre-assessment is necessary
Your dentist will decide how often he wants to see you and how much they will charge you
You will have to pay for any restorative dental treatment necessary (ie. crowns, bridges or fillings)
Denplan Essentials also includes worldwide dental injury and dental emergency cover (Supplementary Insurance) and access to Denplan’s 24-Hour Worldwide Dental Emergency Helpline

Routine dental care includes:

Check-ups (up to the maximum detailed in your contract)
Scaling, polishing and other hygiene treatment (up to the maximum detailed in your contract)
Dental x-rays
Any additional treatment specified as included by the dentist in your contract
Preventive dental advice

Denplan Essentials does not cover:

Restorative dental treatments including fillings, crowns, bridges or dentures (at the discretion of your dentist)
Laboratory fees and prescriptions
Any treatment excluded by the dentists in your contract which is payable by you to the dentist
Referral to a specialist and specialist treatment
Orthodontics, implants, cosmetic treatment
Sedation fees
